Cardiac Surgical Services

Dr. Rice is a member of the active medical staff of Altoona Hospital, Center for Medicine, Section of Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

A collaborative relationship between Commonwealth Surgical Services, Inc. and Central Pennsylvania Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Surgery of Altoona provides for all levels of comprehensive Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Care. Newer surgical procedures, including Cox Maze and Mini-Maze techniques, to eliminate Atrial fibrillation are available.

If your condition requires specialized services not available at Lewistown Hospital your procedure can be performed by Dr. Rice at Altoona Hospital and follow up after discharge performed at Lewistown Hospital.
