Meet Philip L. Rice, MD, FACS, FACC, FCCP, RPVI
Philip L. Rice, MD, FACS, FACC, FCCP, RPVI, is certified by the American Boards of Surgery and Thoracic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Cardiology, American College of Angiology, and the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Rice is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and is a lifetime member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Rice is the only physician in the area credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, ARDMS, as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation, RPVI. He is Medical Director of the Lewistown Hospital Vascular Laboratory, an ICAVL accredited Laboratory. Dr. Rice has 30 years of surgical experience in Cardiac, Vascular, Endo Vascular, and Thoracic Surgery, as well as Vascular Laboratory Diagnosis. He is on the active Medical Staff of Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown, PA, and Altoona Hospital, Center for Medicine in Altoona, PA.
